About Me....

A Little about me......

Health care professional with hospital projects, operations and marketing experience, combined with Masters in Hospital Administration degree. Proven ability to organize a health care facility. Recognized for ability to work with very diverse clients and staff. Outstanding skills in assessing what is needed, recommending sensible solutions, and effectively motivating staff to implement them in a concerted spirit.

My interest in Healthcare began early. The bug had already bitten me and somehow I always wanted to be in healthcare.

After doing my grad from Delhi University in Zoology , I straight way headed for my post graduation. I came to know there are good institutes in India itself offering Masters in Hospital Administration.I went through rigourous tests,group discussion and interview. Finally I was able to crack it. It was long tiring two years of grilling classes and group work,presentations and not to miss the fun inside the campus.

I had great learning during my tenure as Placement Representative from 2001 -2003 . I met top level management during their visit to campus and got their views about the Indian Healthcare Industry.

During my course I did projects for the most reputed organization in healthcare namely, Escorts Group and Apollo Group.

Some of my project :

Patient Satisfaction Survey of Punjab health Systems Corporation Hospitals in Punjab, a World Bank Funded project.
To assess and improve the effectiveness of marketing campaign of ‘The Apollo Clinic’ at Apollo Health and Lifestyle Limited, Delhi

I had an oppourtunity to start my professional career with an assignment from United Kingdom "Aid India International " It was a four month project starting in the month of march (summer of Rajasthan).

The assignment was to assess the feasibility to start a Maternity and Pediatric Hospital at Jaipur , The focus of the project was technical and market feasibility.

My second assignment was with Dr. Agarwal's Group of Eye Hospitals ,Jaipur as a Project Manager. The time and energy spent with this organization was much rewarding interms of learning new things. I was the

single contact point for the Chennai HO. Searching a place for myself and site for the hospital in scorching heat will be memorable . The teethings problem had its toll on me , I was bed ridden for two days. However, the project is a good success and now the hospital can boast of being one of its kind in Jaipur.I should mention Dr. Amar Agarwal being a great doctor as well as a good leader.I should also appreciate the never say die attitude of Mr. Bhattacharyya.

My next assignment was with Max Healthcare Group, Delhi . Since this project was also in the commissioning stage ,I had great time there working late night and learning many things within short span of time. I had mixed experience working with Max.

Currently I am with Healthcare IT company as Domain Specialist.The brand new story begins.... carrying along the learnings and experiences.

Personal Info:

My hobbies include knowlegde surfing,reading books and very much interested to learn about different culture and I love travelling.

Languages I know english,hindi,bengali and I even tried to learn japanese but could not ,i tell you it is very difficult,sensei.

I consider the quality of having good Interpersonal skills,Team player and self starter are my strenghts.

I need to improve on my being impatient and trusting any person very easily and fast.Anyways I have learnt from my mistake.
